Using L3-3 in the UK

Post by wow001 »

What are problems with using a L3-3 set to 220V but the power supply in the UK is 240V and possible ranges 235 to 245V depending on time of day?

Or

Should i just run it from my Variac set to 220V ? (it can output 0-240V and 10amps)

I never tried it, but it probably works on 240V just as well. If you can set the meter in the mains calibration mark, you're ok.

If not, you'll need a variac.
