Build quality of L3-3

Post by wow001 »

Just arrived a NOS L3-3 manufactured in 1986, come with the wooden crate and small wooden box with tubes, cards, power cable, and two booklets.
The L3-3 is new but the top plate is very bent and wondered if this was transport damage or how they came from the factory?

There is some corner damage and the rotary switch used to calibrated the voltage will not rotate past number 9.

this is damage by post office monkeys. Or by the packaging monkey. Useually the combination.

Problem is now, the buyer is often the repair monkey. But you can have good results with a wooden hammer. No guarantee :)
