KT120 SE, (Single Ended) Verstärker

Dieses Schaltung ist ausgelegt für eine KT120 Röhre, die Treiber stufe besteht aus einer Doppeltriode, 12 AU7. Die KT120 gehört zur Zeit zu der stärksten Röhre in der 6550/KT88/KT90 Familie.

In der LE-KT120-S1 Schaltung wird diese Röhre mit ca. 48 Watt Anoden – Gitter Verlustleistung betrieben und garantiert durch die große Bauart eine lange Lebensdauer,die 6550/KT88/KT90 ist hier nicht einsetzbar. Der Arbeitspunkt der KT120 Tung Sol Röhre und der 12AU7 stellt sich automatisch ein, durch Auto Bias. Die Röhre arbeitet im reinem Klasse A Modus, die Koppelung des KT120 Screen Gitter mit der Ultralinear Wickelung des Lundahl Ausgangstransformators und die moderaten Gegenkoppelung ergeben ein sehr gleichmäßig verlaufendes Klirrspektrum des Verstärkers .

Klang: Detailliertes, straffes und am Triodenklang angelehntes Klangbild , hervorragendes Auflösungsvermögen und Dynamikverhalten, läuft problemlos an Boxen ab ca. 85dB oder einer Empfindlichkeit von 85dB/2,83V/8Ohm bzw. 85dB/2V/4Ohm

KT120 SE (single ended) amplifier

This circuit is designed for a KT120 tube, the driver stage consists of a strong double triode, 12AU7. The KT120 is currently one of the most powerful tube in the 6550/KT88/KT90 family.

In the LE-KT120-S1 circuit, this tube with it's 48Watts total dissipation is operated moderately, to archieve a long lifetime. Attention: 6550/KT88/KT90 can not be used here! The operating point of the tubes 12AU7, KT120 Tung Sol is set automatically by auto bias. The tube operates in pure class A ultra linear mode, with the screen grid connected tap of Lundahl output transformer. A small negative feedback lowers the internal resistance of the amplifier and increases the damping factor. This allows the use of less sensitive speakers, with some impedance changes over frequency, and results also in tighter bass control. It is possible to wire the output transformer for 4 Ohms or 8 Ohms speakers.

Sound: Detailed, tight, triode-like sound. Excellent resolution and dynamic performance.
