How to use the Lundahl LL1693-230 with 2x 6C33B Parallel Single Ended

This page not gives a circuit diagram of how to build an amplifier. It only explains the way how to use the LL1693-230 as a transformer for any 2x 6C33B parallel single ended circuit. Since the 6C33B, when used Single Ended, is always used the same way, you can use the LL1693-230 in any circuit diagram with two 6C33B in parallel Single Ended.

Transformers for the 6C33B are different from other transformers, because this tube es extremely low impedance, and can draw much more DC current than most other tubes. For this reason standard transformers will not fit to the 6C33B. Specially when you put two 6C33B in parallel, you can use use only dedicated transformers. From Lundahl, there is the universal transformer LL1693, which is made for very low impedance tubes. It can be used for this purpose very nicely.

In the original datasheet the transformer is described for 600 Ohms, 230mA. However by another way of connecting the primary coils, this transformer can be wired as 300 Ohms, 460mA . The three output impedances: 4, 8, 16 Ohms are still possible.
